Limited stock, but I was able to use Brickseek[brickseek.com] and found a few in my area (CT).

Huge 15.8 in. crosscut capacity in a highly portable miter saw. Military grade aluminum arm system with 8 bearings for super smooth action. Adjustment feature means you can adjust the sliding tension to your preference. 15 Amp motor with belt drive and electric brake for smooth and fast cutting. 60° right and 52° left miters with 1 hand release for quick miter changes. 48° left and right bevel with up front release and stops at the popular positions. The LED shadow line shows precisely where the cut will be eliminating guesswork and shows up in bright or dim lighting situations.
It's the exact same unit (in Ridgid orange) as the Delta Cruzer. Delta makes these robot saws for Ridgid, hence no LSA. If you have trouble finding reviews online, just look up the Cruzer.
Biggest complaint has been deflection at full extension and terrible dust collection. There's very passionate opinions on each.
Thanks for posting. Just a reminder for those interested, this saw does not have the Lifetime Warranty that most Ridgid tools have. This one only has a 5 year warranty coverage.
The LSA only applies to Ridgid products that are produced and marketed under license by Techtronic Industries (TTI). But the Ridgid brand, owned by Emerson, is much larger than what comes from TTI and has many different warranties depending on the product, like hand tools, plumbing tools, vacuums, and these Delta manufactured NEXT line of benchtop power tools.
I remember the wood shop I was working at, needing a new sliding compound. We sent our driver thinking he would grab one like what we already had.. no.. he brought back one of these. Only took a few days to realize just how off it was at full extension, way too much deflection.
Thanks. Repped. Was thinking about getting the Ridgid as I have a couple in stock at my local HD, but I'm not sure if it's that good of a deal. I really know nothing about miter saws, so I'll need to do some research.
Keep in mind the ridgid one is 'zero clearance' meaning you can buy it against a wall and still use the sliding feature. The rail ones that are standard and cheaper also take up almost double the floor space footprint.

Might you remember how bad it was. Sounds like it was tested and I was curious since I have one and haven't noticed anything significant
Snagged one for $210 with military discount. Went to the HD in Strongsville, OH and checked in when I left, and when I arrived for curbside. 35 mins later, nothing. I finally went inside and told them I'd get it myself. Hopefully it's awesome.
I like the Skil saw more. With cashback it is actually only $7 more than this rigid/cruzer miter saw. Sure it takes up a couple more inches in sliding length, but it can be stored with the blade facing a 45* angle. It's lighter, newer, has better accessories included. For a home diyer who doesn't have a dedicated wood workshop and vacuum system, i would recommend this to my friends/family who are not professionals, and use the miter saw maybe 10-20 times a year.
The rigid saw does take up less space, but it also is much heavier. I value being able to put this saw away easily for storage so weight matters a lot to me as I bring the miter saw out from the shed/garage to use. Even the clamp itself on the skil is better. I almost bought the rigid until I learned about the skil.
I don't know how many people that is your average home diyer actually has a dedicated mitersaw station, that would also need that extra space saving in *that* particular location, and be okay with the amount of dust this thing sends flying even with the vacuum attachment. I've always moved my 10" non sliding mitersaw around and when I'm cutting wood outside, I don't care about how much sawdust it creates since I'll be blowing/hosing it away afterwards.
Ultimately it depends what you care about more given the price point.
Do you care more about a few extra inches(maybe 5"?) of space savings from the sliding arm feature? Then get the rigid/cruz.
Do you care more about portability(almost 20lbs lighter) and dust collection and less blade deflection at full extension along with better clamp system included for $7 more? Then get the skil.
They both have shadowline led cutting light.

Can you share which store you can buy it from and get 9% cb?
Just got the last one in the denver area. Lol bearly made it. We will see about the deflection and suction. Can't beast 236 with tax for 10" dual bevel with shadow line. Hell even ryobi can't beat this price. 😁😆

Lifetime warranty is a joke. It is lifetime or until they discontinue parts. On Slickdeals now looking for a deal on miter saw because the $4 part for blade shield has been discontinued. For this saw no opinion as I am looking for a little higher up market.

Not with Ridgid's LSA. If they can't fix it, they will replace it with a current model.
But as a reminder, this NEXT line of Ridgid corded power tools has a 5-year warranty, not lifetime.

That's unfortunate. Ridgid repair services didn't offer to replace your miter saw with another unit since the part isn't available?

Interesting… not the comment I got from the rep. Ship has sailed at this point.
