Great deal on this backup generator kit. Extra 12% off when you click the coupon. Would have been nice to have this during our last power outage here in Houston. Six days with no electricity! I have a Delta 2 which kept my refrigerator running.

You need solar setup or gas generator or car running to recharge power station. Without it it's useless. Typical household fridge will run less than 24h on delta 2 and about 2.5-3 days on delta pro.
Also book 1.5k-2k for a transfer switch installation.

You can also charge it from AC by plugging it into a wall outlet. Then you can use it for your backup generator during power outages. So many uses.

Decent price here. I have a very similar set up with the 10 circuit version of this transfer switch and 6kwh in Bluetti batteries.
I installed it my self in about an hour following the Reliant Youtube videos. Easy-peasy. You can switch from battery to grid and back so fast that the lights don't even blink.
Solar panels are cheap right now but expect the prices of anything from China to go up in price 25ish% because of the new tariffs Brandon is pushing.

tariffs aren't new. Both parties do it. no need to make political bias your entire personality. this is Slickdeals. nobody cares or will ask about your political thought.

price of batteries are going down. solar panels are extra extra cheap used but perfect working, if you're doing diy.

Useless? Not necessarily... for me, 2-6hr power outages are a lot more common than 1-2+ day outages. For those shorter outages, you can often get by with nothing but the battery backup.

...and $1.5-2k for transfer switch installation is ridiculous without complicating factors. That's more like full main box replacement price.

This comment seems remarkably unaware of the huge tariff increase policies of the last Presidential administration toward China. Potential changes in trade costs do factor in legitimately to whether to jump on deals now, but insulting rhetoric toward a particular politician seems inappropriate to this venue, and doesn't come off as well-informed when the other, apparently more favored politician did much the same thing but on a larger scale.

Can we please end the political discussion here and get back on topic?
Does the transfer switch kit only supply certain circuits? Six circuits only, right? Would I still need a generator transfer switch for my panel to use this?

Did you fully read my comment? How do you plan to recharge it while outage is in progress? By plugin into dead AC outlet?
