Most likely. It has HDMI inputs, so it's still essentially a TV with touchscreen capabilities.

I'm a teacher and we have 75 inch Philips Interactive boards that are…not good. However, our district got them for $500 each since they're being discontinued. Can't really complain about that for a 75 inch 4k 60hz screen that uses Win10 / Win11 touch features. Edit: It comes with a terrible, modified Android OS, but can use the Windows touch features via USB.

I just have no idea who could truly use this device to its full potential that couldn't be done with cheaper alternatives. 55 inch is very small if you intend to use this for presenting materials unless the audience is 10 ft away max. The internals of these devices are usually garbage and not properly supported by vendors.

I looked up that AMD processor since I've never heard of that and it was released in 2018. It has to have a gimped version of Windows 10, but maybe not. However Windows 10 loses support in 16 months.

I don't know. Unless you absolutely need a big touch screen…
The CPU doesn't support Win 11 in case anyone is wondering.
doesn't matter ... you can install Windows 11 on any CPU, just not recommended

1. first you will have to update your registry

https://support.microsoft.com/en-...e77ac7c70e

2. now you will need to install it from media and not from the windows update page

https://www.microsoft.com/softwar.../windows11

I can see this being used for like trading stocks or crypto etc, a good tool to have like behind or in front of your trading setup so you can quickly look up charts and whatnot and if you like trading using touch screens like your phone or iPad but those are a bit too small imo so this would be perfect for something like that I think!

Seems like the main use is for doing a presentation to a small group or maybe for a business with specialized software loaded where customers can interact via the touchscreen to get information. I see financial advisors using a large touchscreen like this when doing presentations on their YouTube videos

As a past digital signage project manager all I have to say is good luck and at least it's not Samsung.

Not having the ability to upgrade to windows 11 seems like a dealbreaker. I would use this for drawing during presentations. Seems like they don't do well with returns so not sure it's worth the risk for me. But it's enticing.

The vive board is a great option in this segment but it's 3-5x this price.

Since it's LG I'd imagine it's most likely running a version of webOS, they've been using it on most of their displays for a good while now. We deal with 86" Touchview displays at my work and those are also running some chinsy version of Android but the display itself is pretty nice

I'd love to plug it into a PC and try it with Microsoft Whiteboard
