Samsung has for Samsung EPP/EDU: 22 cu. ft. Samsung Smart 3-Door French Door Refrigerator (Stainless) (RF22A4121SR) on sale for $899.40. Shipping is free.
This is my exact fridge. It's been fantastic two years in. We have hard water where I live and the OEM filter does a really good job of keeping the ice pure. Costco occasionally has three filters for $50 or so.
I have this fridge. It's fantastic. No exterior handles and French doors in a small kitchen is a real space saver. The freezer can "blast freeze" if you need something frozen within an hour. Quiet (except for the ice maker, normal) and leak free after 4 years and 2 moves. Highly recommend.

Make sure youre using factory Samsung filters as knockoffs will not properly filter the water. I know they're slightly more expensive (60-65 each) but it's cheaper than a new filter housing (250+) that houses the valves that occasionally get debris clogged in them, your dispenser will progressively get to a drip.

The ones I bought are OEM from Costco directly. Those sales pop up every once in a while. My last order for 4 was this, $69.99.

I want to buy this for my mom, but I know she loves pouring water from the fridge. I see a water filter. Does anyone know if there is a compartment for water?

Don't buy a Samsung refrigerator, you will regret it. Samsung appliances are notorious for failing. Do a quick Google/reddit search.
I agree, I have a samsung garage fridge/freezer I bought new about 15 years ago. it works but has issues like the temp readout will get scrambled and the ice maker will just stop working randomly. But as long as it cools and freezes I am gonna keep it because it's a garage fridge for mostly beer and more freezer capacity.
What is a good brand to look at for a french door fridge?

I don't think it has water dispenser. Are you sure?
How often you change the filter?

As if a Samsung fridge ever lasts for 2 years.
