Additionally as I was browsing these comments and the listing and doing other things, I was logged out of my LG account that I had logged into using my personal phone (after activating on my work device). Now it says my credentials are invalid but I was able to log in using my work phone. Is the site just buggy as hell or only select accounts can use the discount code?

Make sure you are on the partner website and not the regular website when you attempt to log in. What you are describing sounds a lot like what I experienced a couple days ago when I started looking into this.
I own a 77 inch s90c so I'm not even a LG fan boy/girl. There is nothing wrong with this Tv. This is a pretty good deal atm with the Amex cash back.
I've got a 77 inch s90c now still in my return window. Struggling to love the upscaling and sports on it so thinking about buying this and returning the s90c

This is just what the customer service rep told me this morning when I tried to get a price adjustment.
She said I had to cancel and reorder but I couldn't reorder because the promo code was coming up as invalid.
I ended up just ordering under a family members account and cancelling under mine.
My family member's account now also says promo code is invalid after I placed the order.
Waste of time
Interesting, sounds like the switch to the chromecast helped with the upscaling. Maybe I'll try that before deciding then
At $1620 this is better, I'm eligible for partners discount too, but I want to wait for deal on 83". Anybody thinks 83" C3 will get around $2200 like C2 did in November/December?
