Great deal imo, but I'm willing to pay a bit more for less ms (this has 5ms) and a higher refresh rate, but that's just me personally. Spec wise, this would work for the majority of people.

This is good for work and online shopping and I love the IPS panel, but 60Hz is probably not ideal for gaming.

When this monitor came up last time, i ended up buying both it and the very similar model that Staples had for the same price. At the time, the consensus seemed to be that the Staples monitor which has a built in docking station, speakers, a slightly different curvature and a height adjustable stand was a better deal and I ultimately agree. While most of those features didn't matter for my personal office use, they were highly beneficial for my wife's office use, so we kept both.

Another factor that came up was that LG takes forever to ship this monitor (took almost 3 weeks for the one I ordered). While staples will have the other one at your door in a couple days and if something is wrong with it when it arrives, you can return it to a store which is a huge benefit over trying to get LG to RMA this model.

The staples one is also still available at the same $250 price, so if that one is better for you, I'd highly recommend it instead.

Got this for $250 a few days ago. This deal is not as good. Wait for this to get on sale instead.

It should also be noted the staples version in the above post also has usb-c with 90w charging. That is a big advantage for users who have usb-c laptops, ie macbooks, and need to dock/undock their laptops. The single cable is way more convenient than one without usb-c. I have the costco version and currently have 3 cables plugged into my macbook with adaptors 🤦 ♂️.

I have the costco version and its great. my only complaint is the lack of USB-C so I can just have a single cable to plug into my MacBook. if i were choosing today, I would choose the Staples version linked earlier above since it has USB-C and a hub on the back.

Plus, most of us paid sub $200 through various coupon/CB methods. Mine was 160-170, so the decision was easy to go Staples.

no longer there. before the coupons expired, staples stopped people using it on this monitor. thought my order would be cancelled, but they honored it.
