Just came back from best buy store . I told rep that I need to order pixel 7a with Verizon which is having promotion price of $129. Not sure what he did but he gave the phone for $129 without even activating the line with Verizon. Also did not charge sales tax.
I've been using the 7a for around 10 months now. Still enjoying it. Camera is top-notch, battery life is solid, etc. My only quirk is that sometimes swiping from an app to the home screen will make it go to a blank screen instead...apparently it's a bug with how Android interacts with 3rd-party launchers like Nova. But for $229, can't really wrong.
i notice this as well with my moto g stylus, using Nova launcher
Am I the only one who passes on any Best Buy deal due to their industry-worst return policy? I just can't be bothered... All I can say to anyone buying this, read the fine print of all their policies so you aren't surprised. BB lurkers gonna TD the hell outta this.
Industry worst? I have returned like 20 items to best buy with no issues. This is the first I have ever seen with a restocking fee. B&H is far worse for returns and restocking.
How fast does the Pixel 7a charge? You'll be ready to go in just under two hours to go from 0 to 100%. The Pixel 7a needs around 1 hour and 59 minutes to fully charge its battery
Good enough for me , i dont live on my phone 24/7 or play games. They make real portable gaming devices now
Just reading that sounds brutal. My two and a half year old OnePlus 9 charges from zero to 100% in 30 minutes or less.

I went through the process to add to cart - price was $179 due to best buy today. The billed later by verizon shows $0.00/month + 35$ activation. Surely the $179.99 will show up on my verizon bill next month, right? I'm just imagining that I will be getting the slickest deal ever....
Is anyone else seeing this that can enlighten me?
Edit: Reading comprehension is hard for me apparently - I now understand the charges.

If you purchase at Best Buy and use their link to upgrade your Verizon account, how long does the original Verizon device stay active?
I can't imagine that it deactivates your original immediately but ....
Thank you,
Per Best Buy Chat:
I see that if you buy it with phone with a Verizon upgrade then from the purchase day your carrier will get disconnected from the day of the purchase to the delivery .
No restocking fee if opened in those states below?
Returns fee

Drones, digital cameras, camera lenses, camcorders (including action cameras), electric bikes, electric mopeds, golf launch monitors, premium scooters, super scooters, mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs, leg and body recovery systems, projectors, projector screens, premium cold tubs, premium saunas, and special-order products
15% of item purchase price
There is no restocking fee if the product is unopened, or if the purchase occurs in: AL, CO, HI, IA, MS, OH, OK, SC and where prohibited by law. The restocking fee will be taxed in select states.
