Eventually, yes. As long as you have a good battery. This isn't for jump starting. It's either for maintaining battery in a parked car or recharging a drained battery.

For emergency start, I recommend the Gooloo 4000. Have one in my CR-V for emergency

how does this compare to this? I do updates on my Volvo xc90 and it needs to maintain full battery - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ESQW08/

I bought a Noco charger because of recommendations on here and have restored 3 different batteries. One that was dead for 3 years. Highly recommend

1 amp is probably good enough for you to ensure the battery doesn't drain itself to death when you leave it in the garage at all times.

but if you have a dead battery (meaning 10v or lower), you gonna take at least half a day, if not the entire day to charge it back up to 14V. i have a 10 amp version to charge my unused ICE car once a month, and even that takes an hour and half (and yes, it was charging at 10 amp most of time, the cars alternator charges at 60 to 80 amp when it is on and your battery is low)

I bought this about 4 years ago and it's great! I use it to keep my atv battery charged. I'd love to see the 10 amp on sale for a great price

It literally says maintainer in the title, you didn't even have to dive into the product listing for that information...

I get that but real world applications can be different and it's always nice to get insight or confirmation from the community. Helpfulness is what many of us come here for rather than sass.

This is really basic stuff though. Is your battery 6 or 12V? lead acid, or any of the other chemistries it supports? Then there's your answer.

Blind reliance on random internet strangers to advise you is a good way to end up in a bad spot.

I have used this exact model to charge my generator battery every a few months. It usually takes a few hours but took more than 24 hours to complete charging when I forgot to charge it for 10 months once. I'd get one with larger amperage
