Thanks to Community Member jamislow for sharing this deal.
Designed for 6-volt and 12-volt sealed lead-acid automotive, marine, RV, powersport, and deep-cycle batteries, including flooded, gel, AGM, SLA, VRLA and maintenance-free, plus lithium-ion batteries (lifepo4).
An integrated digital thermal sensor detects the ambient temperature and alters the charge to eliminate over-charging in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates.
Charges batteries as low as 1-volt. Or use the all-new force mode that allows you to take control and manually begin charging dead batteries down to zero volts.
An advanced battery repair mode uses slow pulse reconditioner technology to detect battery sulfation and acid stratification to restore lost battery performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life.
It's not just a battery trickle charger, it's an advanced battery charger maintainer. A fully-automatic, worry-free smart battery charger for everyday use - 24/7 - with zero overcharge.

This is a good charger, but it doesn't have the standard SAE pigtail connector that every other automotive charger uses, which is inconvenient if you use it for multiple vehicles.
I have this and it's a good unit for maintaining all batteries and for charging small batteries.
One thing I don't like about it is that it is "wall wart" style (you can see in some of the photos). So it's not always convenient to plug it in. Like if you want to use it with an outlet with a weatherproof (snap-open) cover, it probably won't fit, so you'll need to use a small extension cord anyway to go between the outlet and charger.
It's not "junk," it's typical of "smart" battery chargers/maintainers that want to make sure it's hooked-up correctly. This is a few years old and most "smart" products of that era would do that.
If you look at some of the new NOCO Genius battery systems, they advertise "works down to 1v" and even has a "Force mode" you can you use in that case where something is really really dead (though if it got that dead you may not be able to get much life out of that battery anyway). So yeah, this $20 model from a few years ago is for maintaining mostly-charged batteries, but I don't think it's "junk."
EDIT according to the description, this one DOES have the new "Force mode" also. So the "junk" post is even more wrong....

I bought a battery tender jr 4 bank charger like 7 years ago, and it's absolutely phenomenal. I dont think ive had a battery die since I got it.
I have a little single charger that if I need to take to a friends house or something, and I even have a solar powered battery tender charge controller on my riding mower in shed lol. its been going a few years now without fail.
I think battery tender > noco, I had noco, seems excessively bulky and I hate that it doesnt use the sae connections, made me buy a dongle to use with my other appliances.
just stick with battery tender jr guys. it works just fine

I take the noco charger and cut the plug off when I buy them and solder on the SAE.
