Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Let me tell you, the FP posts are from staff (which promos the seller/amazon). $20 can be had every few months if you look at the FP history. It's not a 'deal'. Is the SD promo pricing. People flocks to it when they think it's FP and it's a deal. I don't.
Everyone else can use their own judgement and do their research. They can upvote this post to counter my post. It's just my opinion.
So a lightning deal (not "Normal Pricing") that was 10% more is worth throwing downvotes around? Thought we were here to help each other...
A combined couple hundred upvotes from pervious FP posts at this price beg to differ.

Not very familiar with this.
Why does someone need it Instead of a jump starter ?
Trickle/Maintenance chargers are usually meant to keep batteries charged if they are not in use for a long time. Say you have a car/motorcycle that rarely gets driven (i.e. stored over winter), you'll need to keep a charger on it as the vehicle electronics will slowly dissipate the voltage (parasitic draw).

I'm also not familiar with this as well. So thank you for the information. Is it worth it to spend a bit more for the higher amps?
Is it recommended to use this on a car that's driven around 3 times a week?
Do you always keep this plugged in when not driving to ensure the battery stays good or only when the battery amperage drops below a certain level?

The low amperage is fine for a storage application. Higher amperage is used when you're trying to quickly charge a battery, not maintain it (if there is anywhere close to a 1amp pull on your battery with the car off, there is an electrical issue going on).
You'll probably not need this if the car is driven that amount of times in a week. I would recommend a trickle charger for any vehicles that are not used for a week or more at a time (so you don't get into said low voltage level situation).

Ya, it's a buck more. $20 is a ok price for this. Not super deal. Maybe $15 is a FP deal.
