I have this & it's a great little battery maintainer, I use it on 6 volt & 12 volt systems & it auto cycles as needed. Just bought another!

I have the 2 version. This is great. I connect my car to it 2-3 times a year just for desulfator function.

Several other NOCO products are also on sale at near-lowest prices according to price tracking sites. Just picked up the Genius 5 version of this charger (useful for charging larger batteries more quickly).

Good price. I paid $30 last week for a neighbor. I have been using a G1 for yrs now and it is fantastic.
Noticed the G5 was on sale this morning & grabbed one.

Would this charge a totally discharged battery? I grew up in the 70s when a Sears (eg not fancy) battery charger did so. A recent experience with a "hi tech" unit was a disappointment, apparently because the unit could not figure out if I was charging a 6 or 12 volt battery. Grrr.

I have a nice 6amp wifi charger from another brand. It fails to revive completely dead batteries(refuses to charge). I use this little 1amp NOCO to kick start the charge enough for the 6amp to take over.

So if I have a battery that's only reading 12.5v, would this help? When would this help and when wouldn't it?

I park on the street, so I'd have to remove the battery to charge it. Is this worth getting or would the hassle of removing the battery negate any benefits that charging it would offer? I'd get the Genius 5 or 10 to ensure it would change over night, but want some opinions before pulling the trigger. Thanks.

I've had this Genius1 and after a year of light usage it has failed. I was happy to see a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately I had to pay shipping to return... over $15 shipping to return a $23 maintainer!

I have this, I like how it has a mode for 12v and another for agm. Some other chargers sometimes you're just not sure if it actually does agm properly.
