Hi! I worked for a major battery mfg for years just wanted to bring something to your attention…
you want a SLOW charger to bring batteries back from dead. A dead battery will be damaged by a high amp charger and the cells will lose their capacity.
If you're going to autozone etc for a charge specify you want a SLOW charger and not to use their fast one.
HEAT is the number one killer of batteries, and boiling your battery on a fast charger will shorten its life
I had their 10A model die after sitting on the shelf for a couple months. I used it once when it arrived new. After sitting for just 60 days it wouldn't turn on. Had to spend $20 to ship it back for a warranty replacement.

Man 1amp is gonna take a while to do anything. Might be better off with the 5amp for twice the price.
I mean 1a is more than enough to maintain a battery. If you're looking to charge a battery from near dead, I'd use a completely different device that can run on 8 or 12a.

I have this 1A model and it failed after light usage within the year. While under warranty, I had to pay $12 to ship it back to Noco for replacement.
