Visible service is fine for many people and the price is good, but BEWARE! Know what you're signing up for:

They might lose your phone number on port-in.
You might be without service for a week.
There's no bonuses or gift card incentives here, but they're known to not pay those out.
If you ever need to contact support, good luck! There's no phone number and support is exclusively through chat. They might respond in a few minutes or a few days. A different person might reply to you every time. If you ever need to be elevated to level 2 support, they'll send you one email from a no-reply email, and you'll have to start over with chat explaining your case from the start for each iteration.
Service will probably be fine but you may be in the minority of people that have issues.

How bad would it be if you lost your phone number or didn't have service for a week? Would it bother you to spend 10 hours resolving an issue? I'd weigh that against whatever money you're saving on this plan.

So... are you feeling lucky? You'll probably be fine. laugh out loud

Yes , OP needs to have NEW customers ONLY. even plan switching wont workout for existing ones. Again becoming new customer is not that hard either just use useless tello's eSim and switch back in a day.Wink for $3

Please add $20/Month. It reads as if it's $20 a year or $35 for the upgraded version....

Please don't take this if you are in big cities this will never work. You will repent for whole time
I have experienced this in big cities around the nation when I travel. If there is 5GUW everything seems to be good. It's the older 4G/5G that have limited capacity and deprioritization can be dramatic.

It said that to me too but it worked anyway in my unlocked t-mobile Samsung A14 5G. The service has been good for me but in certain areas un-prioritized data may be garbage. Oh yeah and NO human customer service. All automated and Verizon doesn't have access either. So if you have a problem you are SOL.

Where do you live in NH? I live in VT/Upper Valley and was wondering if I should switch to Mint, my Verizon service is so bad my phone is basically a brick lol.
I live in Southern NH .I did use mint when I went up to Barton VT for a few weeks and got service most of the way there until I got to Barton . Dead zone. Id recommend looking at T-Mobiles service area on their web site and seeing if you are covered where you need it most. There is of course wifi calling but phones can be tough out here. Best service in Vermont though bar none for rural is US Cellular.

try it and let us know, I switch away from them due to the very same reason
I'm with u/luke178

I was with Visible $20 plan for 2 years when they first got rid of "groups" and service was pretty decent. Could browse, stream music etc....

Snagged the next $20 for 1 year and service is HORRIBLE, like can't browse reddit, can web browse in normal places. My mom has Verizon and sitting next to her she can watch youtube, netflix etc. But I'm literally down to dial up service.

Also in public like a city, forget it. Service will randomly cut off because it's so heavily deprioritized. I'm tempted not to make a new account to get the $35 for two years because I don't really leave home that often.

I'm a current customer. I ported my number out to Tello for $6.75. I created a new account with wife's referral code (Gmail + and . tricks didn't work; I had to use a new email). Ported number number to my new account. Whole process took around 4 hours had to wait a couple hours before it would let me port back in. Tried to use a clickthrough cashback site but I had to switch to my phone and pay in there app, so I doubt that will track. Porting your number out cancels your service immediately, so if you're will to risk waiting, this is best to do the day before your payment hits. Was it worth the trouble.... probably not.

Does referral stack with the promo code that's needed to lower the price?

So if I have referrals for 2 years, does my monthly payment be $0 if I signed up for $20/month?

I jumped over to the Plus plan from full Verizon in May of 2023 because my company's 19% discount wasn't renewed. Basically halved my monthly bill, the the promo rate is still good for almost another year. Pixel 7 and 8.

There were a couple times in the days after I switched that made me think it might have been a mistake, but it could have just been me paying more attention. Since then, I haven't been able to tell any difference. Just like full Verizon, my in-city coverage (Portland, OR) can be spotty from time to time, but if I switch to airplane and back to get a new tower, it picks up again. And rural coverage is significantly better than my friends on AT&T/T-Mobile/etc. I'm connected to my home network (gigabit fiber) 99.9%+ of the time I'm in the city anyway.

Also here to report if there is ANY amount of congestion on the network, Visible is unusable.

I have 4 accounts for about two years now and only once we lost service for a couple of days. But then we learned that the only Verizon tower on the island was down. Not sure it is any worse than an average carrier. Customer service does lack, no way to call though there chat has been helpful the one time I needed them ( I upgraded to the higher tier plan to get data in Canada and my wife had no service for a few days in Canada)

They do not stack for the refereed person but the referrer still gets $20 credit.

all over the Bay Area (I'm in Walnut Creek) and SF and Visible is damn slow. I've only had them a week and porting out as my GV lags too.
