Have both P7 and P8. Yes, the P8 is slightly more comfortable... has HDMI output (finally)... and longer software support.

Still, unless I absolutely needed HDMI output, I wouldn't upgrade. And if I needed that, I wouldn't have bought a P7 in the first place.

There's no way the low-RAM version of Gemini on the standard P8 is worth the upgrade. It literally does nothing worth that today.

Not sure if this will help you. My fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 7a was pretty bad too. I saw a recommendation online, to add a few fingerprints, but to just use the same finger for all of them. Maybe try that. It's made my fingerprint scanner much more reliable.

I remember a few years ago, people could upgrade from a Pixel 6 to Pixel 7 for $20. that was a steal. too bad they dont have such an offer anymore

I have the pixel 6 Pro and she's still running strong. Any "must have" reason's to upgrade to this phone? Or is it mostly new "Fluff"?

Mine has been pretty good overall on my P7, but it's very unreliable when the sun is shining into the screen. Outside on a bright, sunny day, the fingerprint reader essentially never works unless you go into the shade or otherwise shade the screen somehow.

I want to do this so badly. My damn 7 camera glass on the back is cracked and I'm not sure they will accept it (everything else is pristine). I know it's like a $8 fix but if I can just trade it in and skip the work, I'd rather do that. Might stop in later and ask about it.

Trying to price trade in on my 128gb s22 in black and the system refuses to admit it exists. For 128gb it gives me 3 color options. Pink, green, and something else. It gives black as an option only for 256. Anyone have similar experience? I might want to do this deal, my phone has cracked back glass and it's still offering $362.50 for a 128gb if I tell it a different color.
