Have both P7 and P8. Yes, the P8 is slightly more comfortable... has HDMI output (finally)... and longer software support.

Still, unless I absolutely needed HDMI output, I wouldn't upgrade. And if I needed that, I wouldn't have bought a P7 in the first place.

There's no way the low-RAM version of Gemini on the standard P8 is worth the upgrade. It literally does nothing worth that today.

Not sure if this will help you. My fingerprint sensor on the Pixel 7a was pretty bad too. I saw a recommendation online, to add a few fingerprints, but to just use the same finger for all of them. Maybe try that. It's made my fingerprint scanner much more reliable.

I remember a few years ago, people could upgrade from a Pixel 6 to Pixel 7 for $20. that was a steal. too bad they dont have such an offer anymore

Do they trade in at store?
I have 7pro with a small crack ,and last time when I traded in(3xl) they didnt consider the crack.
Just want to make sure that I get full refund.

I can "afford" a Pixel 9. But I *really* want a smaller phone than my current Pixel 7. So much so, that I've considered picking up a used iPhone 13 Mini and selling my Pixel 7. I also am considering a new P8 over the P9 because of the size.

For anyone that went from 7 to 8, how much more comfortable is it?

The Pixel 7 does the same. They probably disabled the feature

I love my Pixel 7, but I fully regret buying the 128GB version. My storage is always full, and I have to delete stuff constantly. I'm considering this just to upgrade to the 256GB P8.

I use fingerprint and face unlock on my pixel 8, both are great. If you haven't already, try redoing the fingerprint set up and use the same finger 2+ times. I had the 7 and don't remember either way how the fingerprint was.

I must be missing something. My Pixel 6 Pro is $245 trade in and its saying $254 due after trade in. What is the extra $300 trade in promotion?
