Alienware has same panel as this one. Also Alienware covers burn-in. Samsung does not.

Brightness too dim for me since I have big windows. Need that HDR2000 in my pad.

I had this one but returned; the build quality was not good.

Alienware is curved. So I'm not sure it is exactly the same panel. Also Alienware integrates the AC-DC converter into the monitor leading to a lot of high pitch whine noise if you are close to it and have good enough hearing. But this is luck of the draw. Some people claim they don't have issues. Personally I rather have the brick separate so I can put it far away from my ears.

That being said, $600 after taxes and I'm in. 870 pre-tax is still too steep for me.

250 nits is 250 nits no matter what

barely discernible if you have big windows like me

i went for the 2000 nit non-OLED Odyssey G8 instead

blacks arent as black but at least I can see things in the daylight

sun right in my face and it still looks good

FWIW, this is the top rated gaming monitor on rtings.com. I'm getting mine Friday(from amazon for $999.99). If I like it I might consider returning it and buying through this deal if possible.

If you buy a pair of G8s the price drops to $791.99 ($1583.98 total) if you remove the free G3s from your cart.

don't forget there's a $50 discount if you use the Samsung App. But even then all the bad reviews on the product page don't sound too promising.

Amazing display marred with software hiccups.

Monitor is absolutely gorgeous and the anti glare is truly amazing. However, just like almost every other samsung monitor the experience is ruined by weird software issues. My screen randomly has pixelated lines, you can't use peak brightness in sdr, and peak brightness will not stay on when using hdr. If you restart your monitor or turn off the source you have to re enable peak brightness everytime. If samsung releases a software update quickly this could be a 5 star monitor.

Great monitor; buggy software?

Great display, but software ruins it

1 out of 5 stars.
Shoddy build quality

I picked up a pair of these a couple weeks ago for $1583.98 ($792 each) plus credit card cash back. Happy with them, good text clarity, vibrant color and contrast. The stand is fine, smooth and stable enough with good movement. No problem getting 240hz at 2160p; The only negative that I've noticed is the god-awful UI. For the love, just make a simple monitor without all the smart screen stuff. We don't need it, don't want it, and would love to just disable it.

There's both pros and cons to this. Samsung is the only licensed Smart TV dealer to integrate Xbox Cloud, so you don't need another device to play some games. Which I like because I can keep my PC and PS5 on it and play the odd Gamepass game on the monitor if and don't need to install it.
