I paid $400 (open box) for mine and rarely use it tbh. Installed games, emulators, etc on it and just I'm always at my PC instead. The price - especially for $500 - is great imo though and it's an excellent device.

549 seems high. I took a gamble on an open box for 300$ 512gb Z1 extreme. it looked like someone took it out of the box and put it back in. 😅

Ditto I too see lots of listing for these and the Legion as well on FB marketplace from 300-400 (couple of idiots are asking MSRP though...). Very tempting because each one appears brand new. I can only assume the people who bought them didn't really understand the learning curve, for a non-nerd, a PC gaming handheld could end up being. 3D printers are another category that seems to suffer a similar fate.

I would hope the next real iteration comes out next year... The X is basically this model, but "perfected" (memory, microsd card reader fix, etc)
