I've had this monitor since December of last year, and I have to say, it is the best business/productivity monitor that I have used. I've had 28" and 32" 4K monitors, but they are all just too small for 100% scaling. I always reverted back to 25" 1440p monitors. Basically I learned that, at least for me, 115-118 PPI is the sweet spot for 100% scaling.

38" is the perfect size for 100% scaling with 4K resolution, it's right around 115 PPI.

I have this paired with 2x 25" 1440p set up in portrait on either side. They match very well at 117 PPI.

I've done some light gaming on this (Xbox and PC) and it's fine but I still prefer gaming on an OLED TV.

If you need a monitor that is primarily used for business productivity tasks, that can also handle occasional gaming, then I don't think that you can do much better than this.

I've been waiting forever for a real review site like rtings or hardware unboxed to do a review of this monitor. Still nothing.

I like the size. 42" is a bit too large for the desk, and 32" is a bit too small of fonts when trying to run 4 1080p apps at once. This size is just right.

The problem with this particular monitor is it's only 8-bit. Which means dithering. If it weren't for that, I'd have already pulled the trigger.

ehh I have a 32" 4k and it's barely "big" enough (for WFH purposes, not gaming). Yeah I can 4 1080p windows for rdp etc, but I'm getting old and it's too small. This says 3840 x 2160 but with an ultrawide I dunno.

The first pic is the wrong model all together. PG38UQ is a 38 inch model.

Human vision is much closer to 16:9, an ultra widescreen leaves a lot of wasted vision vertically. I have a 42" 4K LG C2 and could never go back.

with tax, this is going to be nearly $800 .... at that price point, you just go and get you a 42" LG OLED C2 and call it a day.

AMEN. I am on my 5th LG OLED. Just picked up a C4 a few months ago. I still have my C2 as backup. Sold the 55" C9 and 48" C1, and C3 to fund the C4 purchase. 42" C4 Evo is a dream display. Everything looks beautiful at 144hz.
