Word of caution, this is by far the worst company I've dealt with. Transferred from T-Mobile using their last promo for $15/mo per line. Promo pricing never applied. Filed FCC complaint. Their customer service is completely useless. I will be porting out all of my lines at a first chance I get.

I read on Reddit a couple times that this promo ends 11/10. Can anyone verify that?

My first renewal just charged and it was $25 for the month. I paid $30 for the first month but I am on the middle plan.

Can someone share their port process and experience? I am going to be porting 2 lines from T Mobile business soon to the unlimited+ plan but am worried by some of the reviews about the customer service.

I ported from Google Voice and it took almost 4 days. Within the first hour after the sign up, I was able to call, text and data but I can't receive calls or texts. Their CS are useless like everyone said, but other than that everything is okay.

Ported from visible took about 12 hours total did have to reach out chat box to verify my imei info but yeah pretty happy no issues otherwise. I also got the unlimited plus plan and have noticed no issues with speeds or slow downs.

Ported 5 lines from t-mobile. All completed within 5 minutes. Everything up and running well and no promo issues on these lines. One line I ported in (from verizon) very early on gave me issues, but ultimately was resolved.

Best advice I can give you is to buy the sim cards (if not using esim) locally for $1 or online (amazon, bestbuy, target) and activate yourself on the site. No need to get CS involved unless you run into an issue. If not signing up for a multi-line plan, then you will have to create a new account (different email addy) for each line to get the 50% off byod promo since it's limited to just one line.

I've used it (direct dial) to Latin America and it's worked fine for me. Others have used total's international calling app (I don't). Some have reported not having international calling capabilities enabled from the start or missing the additional $10 global calling card that's included with the 5G+ plan. Calling CS is the only way to fix both of those issues.

Hey guys
I'm getting this error when I try to pay via mobile browser. "• Alert
Charge not processed successfully, please try different payment method". I've tried a Chase credit, debit and a Capital One MS and I keep getting the same message. Anyone knows the workaround for this?

Edit: I tried it on PC and it worked. Their IOS app is useless when trying to sign up as well. My 15 pro max # from metro pcs hasn't quite completed porting as I'm still getting bars to metro pcs and calls/texts work. I called Total Wireless and they told me up to 24 hours for porting to be completed. I hope it gets done sooner as my metro pcs bill is due tomorrow.

Edit #2: number was ported successfully… it would have been completed much faster (prob under an hour) if I didn't confuse metro 8 account pin as being the transfer pin but it worked out well.. process fully completed in under 12 hours

how does the unlimited plus plan compare to the visible basic plan? Has anyone switched from visible basic and can comment on the data speed, signal strength. Also, if anyone has switched from visible plus to total wireless unlimited 5G+ please let me know how they compare.

Has anyone ported an AT&T prepaid plan? Im looking to do so but it seems porting out requires reaching out to AT&T.

Just sharing a success story as there's a lot of opinions here.

Plan Total 5G+ Unlimited $30/month w/ AutoPay

Porting
Ported from Mint via the online process with no issues
Step 1: Called up Mint 1st to get my port out pin and ensure that the line was ready to port out
Step 2: Followed the online instructions to port into Total and was able to do it with no issues
Note: Based on reading the comments, it is recommended to not call in an agent for porting and ensure that you are only porting a single line per account
My device only uses an E-sim ( iPhone 15 )

Network
Calling and data speeds are fine. ( Location San Francisco )
Network toggles between LTE and 5G ( Device - iPhone 15 )
Speedtest: Varies between 40 to 90 Mbps download
Able to stream YouTube at 720p and FaceTime / web calling with no issues. So the data speeds are acceptable for my use. Your data speeds may vary based on your location

International calling
Direct calls working for Canada and Asia.

Roaming
Traveled to Canada last weekend and once "Data Roaming" was activated on my cellphone, I was able to call and use roaming data with no issues. I used the website to track my data usage ( 10GB roaming data limit)

Disney +
Total sent an email to setup the account and I was able to access Disney Plus immediately. Streamed on multiple devices with no issue

Mobile App
Installed it. Opened in and Time travelled to 1990 as the interface was so bad. Uninstalled the app and was returned to 2024! LoL
I now use the website directly to check my upcoming payment and data usage. Note that as it is "unlimited data" and talk time, the site doesn't really show any stats for usage, but I was able to see the data usage for international roaming ( 10Gb limit per month )

Hotspot
Have been able to connect and use the hotspot. Speedtest results are 5Mbps download

Website
I check it occasionally to ensure that the payment stays fixed at $30 per month and so far no issues. My first payment will occur at the end of Nov.

Customer Care.
Based on the feedback here, I'm hoping to never have to call customer care. Fingers crossed.

Summary
Been great so far. Hope my post helps anyone on the fence. As with all reddit posts. Use at your own discretion and your experience may vary! Cheers!

You will need your account number and Pin (4-digit security code for the account).

To get the info, sign in paygo online account, head to "profile and settings", then select "account info and preferences", find "get account number", click it, and it should text you the account number.

Thanks for sharing your data point! Glad it all worked out with involving CS. I had a similar experience with 5 out of 6 lines. One line required fcc filing to fix, but is otherwise ok now, thank goodness.

Also don't forget, if you're interested in Hulu (no ads), you can upgrade to that via disney+ directly and pay the difference ($4+ tax). Awesome deal with TW for the next 5 years at least.
