Can you add the clone wars version to this existing one or is it a standalone?

Still have a bunch of boxes and binders of those cards stuffed away somewhere. Very last pack I ever bought was from the Death Star II set, and I got a Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight, which ended up being the first thing I ever sold on eBay.

I stumbled through a few demos early on but never really played it.

SW:LCG was my jam.
It was overshadowed by Netrunner, but I found SW:LCG less mathy and more fun.
I don't think it's draw, discard, and bluff mechanics were understood or appreciated by the casual audience, but it was what made it great for more competitive players.
The asymmetric decks kinda made running tournaments a nightmare.
So it ended up as a game with no home (need too many reps to enjoy, but too few tourneys to get reps) 😥

I picked up LOTR:LCG a few years ago and found it way better than my first few demos and became obsessed for a hot-minute (problem with SW:LCG is the more skilled player typically wins, so it gets discouraging for the weaker player if they don't get better and have no one else to play... LOTR's co-op was a way to experience similar mechanics but work together), so I might go back and revisit CCG someday.

On topic: This game is decent... it is "deck building" in the Dominion / Star Realms sense... not in the MtG or LCG sense.

I love deckbuilders and this one would probably be my favorite even if it didn't have a Star Wars license.

But it does! And not only that, but the artwork on the cards is gorgeous; in my opinion some of the nicest Star Wars illustrations ever done.

I wish it wasn't so locked into 1v1 (there are 2v2 rules, but it's still team-based and you'd need a 2nd copy just for that). But the 1v1 setup is what makes the really cool mechanics work so I can't be too upset.

All board game fans should pick this up at $19!

Are you quoting Miley?

"And we can't stop
And we won't stop
Can't you see it's we who own the night?
Can't you see it's we who 'bout that life?
And we can't stop
And we won't stop
We run things, things don't run we
Don't take nothing from nobody, yeah, yeah"

I was actually thinking of the Chapelle show reference, but I just realized I think he was referencing P Diddy and now I regret putting that.

Hell yeah! Thumbsup
I was ranked pretty well in tournaments and everything. Still have my cards, not that I've taken them out in a couple decades.
