I own this already but haven't played it yet. Is there a benefit to having 2 sets?

No rare cards in here. No benefit to two sets in playing. I got an extra one to give as a gift.

STAR WARS: THE DECKBUILDING GAME can be played
by four players in a special 2v2 multiplayer mode with two
copies of the game. In the 2v2 multiplayer mode, the players
compete in teams: two Empire players against two Rebel
players.

Does this include everything you need for two players to build decks and play? Or do you need two? Can't tell from the item descriptions

Yes, good to go for a 1v1 game, 1 person is empire, 1 is rebels.

Okay I bought this, I don't know whenever will find someone who will manage to play it with me, maybe my daughter when she's old enough. I like head-to-head combat

Kinda lame you need two sets to play 2v2, isn't it? Most deck building games are designed for up to 5 players.

Worth it for the 1v1 at least? I love DC deck builder, so I'm intrigued by a Star Wars version

This is a great 2 player game. Art is good, simple mechanics, but crunchy enough for strategy.

Yeah I mean-- if you want a good 4+ player deckbuilder you have literally hundreds of options, just buy one of those.
If you want a quickly set up 1v1 game with simple rules against a friend over a couple beers, this is a great option.
