I like microwaving bacon on these until it's a single congealed chewy mass of microplastics, pork, and grease. I can't think of a more American dish, thanks OP!

Aren't these really toxic Styrofoam? A type of #6 plastic? The kind that many cities have banned because it's so toxic and polluting? I think for around the same cost you can get paper plates. Even get the thin ones that are cheaper which will do for most needs or put a bamboo or whatever reusable thing to hold it up. you put oily acidic or salty food on this and you're gonna get toxins right into your food. Can we just do a little better?
