What is the RPM and SATA standard utilized on the drive when shucked? If it is gimped, is that under all use conditions?

I believe all the modern WD/HGST helium drives have the 5 second thunk. They likely spin at 7200RPM and are SATA 3 (6gb/s). The drives sold in the EasyStore/Elements lines usually have roughly 20% lower performance (both throughput and seek speeds) compared to their enterprise class counterparts.

Well according to WD and Seagate, there's a high demand for them since companies have been using them to "train AI models" there's always a new excuse for them to increase prices, if it's not one of their very few factories being flooded it's chia miners, or suply chain issues, or inflation, etc, now this AI nonsense, it never ends
