Hope that's the case. Chase is definitely not so easy to worth with compared to Amex.
Also, as mentioned by someone else, I see a pending credit for the full amount. The actual charge has gone through though. I suspect that the credit will fall off as it is just pending.
Offer is still there.
Order placed last night, 1 item over $400.

So I just went to check out with 4 items totaling about $480 after tax and after a 15% coupon I used from signing up for emails. But for some reason it was showing no way to get free shipping despite being over the $50 threshold. So I chatted with support while in checkout and they manually recreated the cart for me and gave a link for me to pay the total in the chatbox.
A few things:
1). When customer service applied my 15% coupon it reduced my total to $430 after tax (because it appears to have applied to a couple items that had told me were "inelligible for the coupon" when it was me checking out myself from the cart.
2). I asked and they confirmed that they would make sure the transaction was processed altogether as 1 transaction rather than splitting into multiple.
3). I was intending to get 4% cb from reekeuoteen, but their fine print seems to say it won't work if order is placed by one of ther "gearheads"/support. No big deal to me as it confirms I get it in 1 single transaction.
Just sharing in case helpful to anyone else.
Make sure you screen shot with your account number showing. Just in case.
I wrote up short letter detailing the charges, included invoice, and uploaded as secure message to Chase. They then honored it.
The rep I spoke with didn't seem familiar with what I was talking about and I doubt got the information correct.
How did you send the secure message to Chase? I'm anticipating having to do this. I called Chase and they said their research team will mail me in a few days, but it sounds like I'll just get denied.
I ended up calling them and they worked with the accounting department. They will recharge the full amount into one transaction and refund the multiple transactions. I will keep you guys updated if this is done right and if I receive my $200 chase credit afterwards.
Yeah I'm just going to move my banking to Amex. Chase service is extremely bad and their offers frequently have issues.
