Charge is still Pending.
I assume once it's Posted is when they'll do the $200 Cash Back.
My order based on the CSR offer has shipped and is supposed to come tomorrow. I don't intend to open it until this is resolved and it is going back if Chase doesn't make good.
I'm now seeing in my pending transactions Backcountry adjusted mine from 1 large and 1 small charge that would have covered me for the offer to about 50-50 across 2 charges... So it seems I need to prepare to talk to Chase as well

From reading elsewhere it seems like once the transaction posts, the offer is removed from the 'added to card' and doesn't show in 'redeemed' until you get the credit. So likely there's just a few days in limbo.
1. Package is out for delivery now
2. The transaction is posted on my CSR card now
3. They refunded all the money with 6c extra, but still pending
4. Since the order is refunded, the offer was not triggered. It is still in the wallet show as ready to use.
Now I'm really confused.
$466.05 (original total of the order)
and $311.35 (2 items in the order)
Are they overcharging now? What... I get a hold of backcountry chat support and this is what they say.
"Looks like there was only one charge made on our end to that payment method. This is a situation where you'd have to call the number on the back of your card to get that resolved with the card provider.
They are the ones that split payments and can also resolve that"
"Looks like there was only a charge for $465.99 on our files. Chase is only responsible for posting the statement credit to your account based on the data it receives from its third-party service provider. It is possible that a merchant may split your purchase into multiple transactions. In this case, you may only receive your statement credit on the first transaction amount. Since this is the case, please call the number on the back of your card used to make this purchase. They will also clear up any pending charges"
Ridiculous, I have never heard or seen a credit card provider splitting a payment. As I go on with chat more and complain this is the response I get,
"Yes so it looks like that was part of the split that occurred with other amount being the $154.70. Chase will be able to condense the two into the one transaction for the total of $465.99. Apologies for the mixup but they will be able to resolve that part."

Delta/Alaska , on award flights, charge the card per pax.
It's not unusual
(I had a longer comment, IDK why it vanished)

Now to figure out why the offer disappeared from my SW Business card before I redeemed it. Maybe it is somehow available but not visible. Why do I feel like I'm in the Upside Down World with Chase?
