I care and I don't get paid by SD. I work very hard to find good deals for the people in this wonderful community. Take your toxicity elsewhere. This is not the place for it.

Thumbs down.
I have $50 off $150.
I don't have to spend anything. I got a $0 off $0 in my CSP.

My order shipped.
Charge is still Pending.
I assume once it's Posted is when they'll do the $200 Cash Back.

If your offer disappears that usually means it was redeemed successfully, you should see the $200 on the total amount saved on the offers page.
If your offer is used, it shows under Redeemed. I've seen this with other offers. Also, my offer disappeared from both my CSR and SW Business cards and the offer doesn't appear anywhere, expired, used, etc. I used the offer before it disappeared on my CSR. I contacted Chase via message and was told that it would take 10 business days to respond. I contacted Chase about the SW Business Card, as I intended to use the offer but then it disappeared. I got a message back saying that offers are added and removed based on our spending data! Crazy! I responded back that it is unreasonable for them to remove an offer after making it available, but I don't have much confidence that I'll get any traction.

My order based on the CSR offer has shipped and is supposed to come tomorrow. I don't intend to open it until this is resolved and it is going back if Chase doesn't make good.

How did you send the secure message to Chase? I'm anticipating having to do this. I called Chase and they said their research team will mail me in a few days, but it sounds like I'll just get denied.
I'm not sure about in app, but once you're logged in browser there's a "secure messages" in list of menu options from the top left. I think I submitted it as "I have a question about one of my accounts" and topic: "Account Inquiry". Got a reply they'd forward to proper department and then after that the adjustment happened.

I'm now seeing in my pending transactions Backcountry adjusted mine from 1 large and 1 small charge that would have covered me for the offer to about 50-50 across 2 charges... So it seems I need to prepare to talk to Chase as well

Same thing happened on my CSR that the offer disappeared after use (for both backcountry and allbirds), but I think it's normal.

From reading elsewhere it seems like once the transaction posts, the offer is removed from the 'added to card' and doesn't show in 'redeemed' until you get the credit. So likely there's just a few days in limbo.

Has anyone actually gotten the $200 credit? How soon after did you get it after the transaction posted?

The situation for me now:
1. Package is out for delivery now
2. The transaction is posted on my CSR card now
3. They refunded all the money with 6c extra, but still pending
4. Since the order is refunded, the offer was not triggered. It is still in the wallet show as ready to use.

Now I'm really confused.

Just had a shipment notification from backcountry this morning, they separated my 4 items. I now have 2 charges on card,

$466.05 (original total of the order)
and $311.35 (2 items in the order)

Are they overcharging now? What... I get a hold of backcountry chat support and this is what they say.

"Looks like there was only one charge made on our end to that payment method. This is a situation where you'd have to call the number on the back of your card to get that resolved with the card provider.
They are the ones that split payments and can also resolve that"

"Looks like there was only a charge for $465.99 on our files. Chase is only responsible for posting the statement credit to your account based on the data it receives from its third-party service provider. It is possible that a merchant may split your purchase into multiple transactions. In this case, you may only receive your statement credit on the first transaction amount. Since this is the case, please call the number on the back of your card used to make this purchase. They will also clear up any pending charges"

Ridiculous, I have never heard or seen a credit card provider splitting a payment. As I go on with chat more and complain this is the response I get,

"Yes so it looks like that was part of the split that occurred with other amount being the $154.70. Chase will be able to condense the two into the one transaction for the total of $465.99. Apologies for the mixup but they will be able to resolve that part."

amazon/target bill the card as they ship.
Delta/Alaska , on award flights, charge the card per pax.

It's not unusual

(I had a longer comment, IDK why it vanished)

My offer disappeared today. I have purchased 403 transaction(single) has posted and I have received my items yesterday. Today the offer vanished from my offers, total amount saved does not reflect, and isn't in added, redeemed, expired tabs on my online banking. Hopefully it's just in limbo and being processed but who knows. Things will be return if no credit.

You were right. I just got an email from Chase that I had redeemed the $200 off $400, so at least their is a record of it. Their system on this is clearly messed up with seemingly no rhyme or reason as to why offers disappear, when they are credited, etc., etc. FWIW, I placed my order on 12/1 and it shipped on 12/1. I still have a pending refund amount for the entire purchase, also dated 12/1, but I imagine that will fall off.

Now to figure out why the offer disappeared from my SW Business card before I redeemed it. Maybe it is somehow available but not visible. Why do I feel like I'm in the Upside Down World with Chase?

My purchase was split into three charges, the offer still shows as "added". Do I need to talk to Chase then?

Can anyone share what the charge description shows up as? I had to chat with a rep to place the order, and on Chase the description of the charge is "BCY*COMPCYCLIST.COM". I know that Backcountry and Competitive Cyclist are the same company, but I want to make sure that the charge will trigger the offer. Thanks!
