Used my wife's card and Backcountry split the $400 order in two separate transactions. Called Chase on 12/3 and the first representative wouldn't do anything. Asked to speak to her manager and the second representative said they would forward it to another department and would send a letter with their decision. My wife just got an email saying that the offer was approved and we would get a $200 credit in 10-14 days
There is no language, according to Chase, that would result in a single purchase split by the merchant being ineligible.
Edit: Call the CSR support number. You'll get a human, in the US, who can help you and isn't as beholden to scripts.

Exactly, nowhere in the terms and conditions does it require the $400 to be spent in one transaction. In fact, it says if your purchase is split until multiple transactions, to contact Chase for assistance.

Just wondering if anyone didn't do anything like upload receipt and still revived the credit?
What did it show up as on your statement?
I was just concerned because I know the cards work on "Gift cards are redeemable on Backcountry.com, Competitivecyclist.com, Steepandcheap.com, and MotoSport.com"
That seems the only way to get it to 400?
