Second rule of SlickDeals: never knock someone else's post where the product can be had for cheaper!
It might be a niche application, but this is about the best deal on a DIRAC pre/pro if you only need 9ch of processing. I got mine a good bit cheaper used locally, but had I not, I'd probably have jumped on this or the previous $579 price without much hesitation.
Some clarification:
This does include the same full bandwidth of Dirac Live the RZ50 has.
DLBC is available on the RZ50 but it also only has mono/parallel sub outs as this does.
Most people don't value DLBC anyways, not sure it's much of a benefit.

With the advent of A1EVO Dirac no longer has an advantage over Audyssey!!!
It's only cost you $20 & you don't even need to buy a new AVR!
You also don't lose sub correction/integration.

Thanks. Do you have any recommendations for a big open loft room? I am just getting started and do not have any brand preference, may be SVS, etc.?
There are so many choices and TBH speaker preference is completely a personal choice.
That said if you're asking for a recommendation for something now in here.
I would point to these Revel Concerta2 F35s for $499.
Much better choice than the usual ones that pop up in here around that price imo.

Hows this compare with the TX-RZ50?
This is almost identical to the RZ50. The RZ50 has an additional 2 channels of processing, includes optional Dirac Live Bass Management, and has 20W of additional power. For $100 more, it's probably worth it. But $600 shipped, I can't really imagine anything performing as well as the DRX 3.4. I'm in for one.

Not a Slickdeal, it's been 579 on Adorama for about 3 months. $10 dollar discount doesn't seem slick to me. It's never been MSRP.

Unless you need the extra two channels, this is probably the better deal imo.
Here is a comparison of the two.

That comparison is AI Generated. Says, Integra doesn't support DSD over HDMI.
Correction- it does show DSD over HDMI … was mentioned on a different row. Apologies

Not understanding your post. That comparison clearly shows both the DRX 3.4 and RZ50 support DSD over HDMI.

I suspect it was 4 years ago when it came out
The Onkyo RZ50 was certainly selling for MSRP then and had waiting lists

How is this Klipsch and Integra DRX 3.4 bundle from Amazon for a beginner level - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZPCDN8Q
I really wouldn't get Klipsch unless it's Reference Premier or above. Be patient, there are far better deals. In fact, if you slowly build your system instead of searching for an all in one bundle, there are great deals now. Other than that, the mast amazing bundle I saw was around Black Friday.

I strongly agree that this is a no-brainer at $570, but buyers should be aware that this is limited bandwidth Dirac. It only corrects from 20Hz to 500Hz. To get full bandwidth, you need to step up to the RZ50. But that's typically a $900 box. So for $570, this is a slam dunk. Limited bandwidth Dirac will outperform Audyssey MultEQ XT, but full-bandwidth Dirac as on another level. You also can't get Dirac Bass Control on this AVR. So if you have two or more subs, you'll probably want the RZ50.

Update: I wasn't aware the the entry level Integra boxes had Full-Bandwidth now. The boys on Reddit must have given me some bad info. Thanks for the correction! I'd still like the option to get DLBC, but you can't get it for this AVR.

Why do you bring up A1EVO (which only a receiver w/Audyssey can use like Denon/Marantz) when this is clearly a PAC AVR thread?!!!

Hmmmm maybe because in every one of them people(plural) ALWAYS say something like
"Dirac will outperform Audyssey MultEQ XT"/"Dirac as on another level"!!!

You obviously know this, why do you keep questioning this? 🤔
