PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

What happens if I put the AT&T sim in the phone? (There are a few reasons I will likely have to.)

Can I put my Google Fi SIM into the phone in the parking lot after walking out.

If I have to pay the $30 activation fee, that's fine.

- Selected the pickup option for the phone.
Trade-In Process:
- Traded in my locked iPhone 12 with Metro PCS for a $320 trade-in value.
- After the trade-in deduction, I paid $84 (including tax) for the Google Pixel Pro XL.
Set Up Verizon:
- Signed up with Verizon while keeping my existing google voice phone number.
- Ported my number from Google Voice to Verizon.
Disconnect Verizon Service:
- After picking up the phone, contacted Verizon through their website chat.
- Informed Verizon to disconnect my service, and they complied.
- Verizon confirmed that I don't owe anything and the phone is unlocked.
Reclaim Google Voice Number:
- I will be able to reclaim my old number back to Google Voice.

The porting already happened when they approved your purchase. It doesn't even matter if you picked up the phone or not. It's over. Now only you can do it cancel the account.

I got an email from att about creating the account right after I placed the order. I'm wondering that does not mean my number is activated, right? I concerned because my pick up date is more than 3 days away.
