PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

Chat did not work. Called VZ customer support. They asked me to pop the SIM in and note down the new phone number. Then call the VZ pre-sales number. After a couple of questions of how we can retain, the sales rep transferred me to customer support who cancelled my service without charges. I was told you will get an email confirmation that still has not come.

I placed an online order and selected Pixel 7 for trade-in. However, on the order details page, I don't see the trade-in phone details (the name of Pixel 7), and in the order confirmation email, it says, "Trade-in Item (Description Unavailable)." Has anyone else faced the same issue? I get the $290 credit included in the price, but I want to ensure the store doesn't create any problems when I do the pickup and trade-in.
They would first check the trade in, enter imei in the system before closing the sale

I understand, but I'm just checking if it's the same for everyone not to see the details of the trade-in they select during the checkout process. Can you check your original order confirmation email to see if you also see a Trade-in Item (Description Unavailable)?

It's not activated until they have the phone and you should get an email also when the line is activated.
Horrible story happened before, call Verizon to cancel line or it might be sent for collection. Not joking.

Bought my walk in device yesterday with a new account new line. I called verizon to cancel the line but they said the line/ service order activation was incomplete. No new account no new line at all. Nothing needs to do and mentioned that I treat that as buying a new device only.

Please help:

Ordered the phone for pick up 2 days ago. Chose to port in my visible number to ATT. Received 2 messages from ATT claiming the port out information is incorrect (I recall bestbuy never asked for them except the phone number). Just picked the phone and the ATT sim-card. Went home and logged into the ATT account, ATT showed suspended account, no upcoming payment or bill. Contacted ATT, they said the port is failed.

Should I do the port then cancel my ATT account? (CR says I need to call the port in department)
Or, directly remove this account? (Can do this on the website)
Or, just ignore it?

It would be cleaner to do the port and cancel but if there is no line in the account they can't send you a bill.

My line didn't port out either, but I was able to cancel anyways. I had to try 2 times on the chat, because the 1st time they told me only can do that over the phone, and the phone rep wanted to redirect me to the store, but I tried again on the chat and was able to cancel without a problem, I have to say, they will want you to give them a good reason to leave and try to convince you to stay lol.

Did you see the line in your account even if the port was not successful?

Yes, it appeared but I received an email that the port in wasn't successful but still allowed me to log in to the system and my account.

Yeah but it's actually $310 if you get a pixel 8a from target and trade it in.

What are their hours? Aren't they open on Saturdays too?
