I bought WD Elements Desktop Hard Drive 20TB SKU: WDBWLG0200HBK-NESN from WD direct last month for $280 which came with an extra year of warranty.
I shucked it because I needed to replace a failing drive asap in my Synology and didn't want to see what the tarrifs costs were gonna be.
Inside is a WD200EDGZ manufactured in December 2024 with R/N: 3PCHA which is referenced in Ultrastar® DC HC555. However regoogling, it looks like the R/N # is referenced in the WD purple spec sheet too.
The Newegg deal has the same SKU and is a killer deal with the SSD.
If you still need a Drive and SSD now you can save with the combo deal. Looks like if you add the HDD and a WD SSD you get something off both. Better then nothing. Or wait and see if the OP SSD comes back in stock.

They (amazon, B&H, et. al.) may have dropped their price, but the SSDs are not included. Even if you don't pay tax at B&H, I still think the newegg one is the best deal.
Absolutely, note that I also pointed this out in my comment. But there might be folks out there with Amazon or Bestbuy gift cards or some other reason that makes it preferable to them.

Yep, i was one of them! Had a Bestbuy Giftcard, Ordered one from bestbuy and still managed to get the Newegg Deal afterwards even though the SSD was sold out when i originally came across this deal. Just checked my order status now and Newegg said its been ship!! Thank you OP!!
I just figured out that I ordered these drives from newegg over a year ago, but returned them unused because I got 18TB drives for $199 instead. Turns out, I paid the exact same amount ($595 including tax) as I paid today for two drives with the bonus SSDs (worth $140-$150 retail) included.
I'm glad I got the 18s before and waited on these. Turned out to be a great deal. I'd say if you need them and they do the deal again, definitely go for it.

Assuming it's the same drive as previously found on Reddit, you're looking at around $210-$230 if purchased refurbished.
Subtract the cost of the SN770 and you're at around $10.50/TB, which is currently unheard of for a brand new drive.
This would have been an amazing deal if paired with the Terramaster D8-Hybrid from a month ago.

I canceled my order after I received an email the SSD was out of stock.
The SSD will probably be back in stock tomorrow!
