This is exactly why I don't buy anything that can be faked from Amazon. No batteries, memory cards, certain tools etc. it doesn't matter if you're buying it directly from Amazon or not. They comingle their inventory and continue to do so despite knowing that fake products get into their supply chain. Their response hasn't been to stop doing this practice because of…money. But instead to hit genuine small businesses who utilize Amazon with bans often with no evidence or recourse.

Last week I bought 2x Dewalt 5Ah battery for $99 + 9 shipping from Fastenersinc. I don't trust Amazon anymore.

Amazon has great return policy but I keep getting erroneous shipment with missing items and I keep having to return them. It's a drag to go to the store or UPS to return them.

I also received and seems to check out ok compared to my older batteries, BUT the QR code scan does not populate the battery model # unlike my older ones.
