With the amount of vulnerabilities TP-Link has. I wouldn't trust any of their products.

On an unmanaged switch that isn't directly exposed to the internet? How is that a risk?

What?! You don't have an Amazon Store Card to get at least 5% back on all your Amazon purchases? Not slick!

I don't know who to trust. Especially Netgear vs TP-Link. I've had good and bad experience with both companies. Hence my question.

every brand has vulnerabilities. I've been very happy with my TP-Link stack and have been using omada without issues at my homes.

in the case of this particular item. it's an unmanaged network switch. not much to go wrong there.

That's not even a gigabit switch... and it has a plastic case... but I guess for some people it my be "good" for specific uses where gigabit is not needed or wanted.
