10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.
________________________________________________________________
You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Iirc, some Snapdragon chipsets have wired USB-C display capability built-in.
I guess not really an issue for me as I just use my Android devices on wifi (mainly for emulating PS2 and older).
But you're right, connectivity could still be an issue.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra can it be used in the United States? :

I think the Galaxy S23 is still going for more than double that price used. Granted, I believe the S23 has better cameras.

are you charging the battery every time with the 68w charger?
i think the fast charging might kill the battery faster.
i'm planning to use my older 10w 15w chargers with this. I'm never in a hurry

even better when you ask for the $60 refund if you ported your number in.

Me and thrifty went back and forth. At first I gave him the correct IMEI 2 and incorrect IMEI 1.
Then I gave him the correct IMEI 1 again. And still unlock was unsuccessful.
Even after repeating the numbers to type them right. It was still my 1st mistake.
thanks for update and clarity .
did u ever get it unlocked? from the other party?
i am of the belief that:
all these folks that have the codes have the same code.
so no need to pay more than $3.
if its gonna be successfully, it will be successful by any seller.
i understand the initial mistake which resulted in a wrong code as expected
still odd that the correct imie did not get correct code.
that is puzzling to me

Out of close to 200 successful unlock from this forum alone it was definitely a rare thing. There's many success stories along the way as all can tell.
A common question people have is "in which order do you unlock and activate". My answer is that it does not matter. I personally unlock my devices on first boot on the "Hi there" screen before setup and any network connection is made.
201 unlocks now. Thanks ThriftyGame5232, the unlock code worked as you said.

My recent order was one of the unsuccessful unlocks with thrifty.
So I had to go to thru
gsmunlockusa DOT com
It was $5 deposit through PayPal. And the code cost $1.95.
But here we are!
so are u saying one method failed, but the other was successful?
that is odd.
i would guess if thrifty method failed, they would all fail.
please clarify

How do you unlock from the Hi there screen before setup and any network connection?
