Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

By any chance are their new phones MediaTek?

Iirc, some Snapdragon chipsets have wired USB-C display capability built-in.
They are all MediaTek. The only 2025 with the Snapdragon is the 2025 Razr Ultra currently $1,100. Hopefully Boost will be selling them for $120 in a year or two. I got my daily Edge+ 2023 last April and the battery is already seeing major degradation these phones aren't built to last more than a couple of years. This phone at $120 is a steal, easily the best bang for the buck currently available.

The Edge 50 Ultra from last year has a Snapdragon 8 gen 3.I'd love to have one but they're not sold in the US. I guess you could buy an international version online.
Caveat with international models is 4G/5G band support. Some bands are fairly universal but there are some that are only used in US and not other countries which may really help when there's network congestion.

I guess not really an issue for me as I just use my Android devices on wifi (mainly for emulating PS2 and older).

Fortunately, it looks like Motorola, similar to OnePlus, puts all of the necessary bands in their international models.Being on T-Mobile, I have to watch this carefully because a lot of foreign phones omit bands, 2, 12,25 and 71.

But you're right, connectivity could still be an issue.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra can it be used in the United States? :

Probably rogue apps on their phone. My Moto Stylus from 2022 still performs the same. But if phone is under warranty best path is to RMA and move on.

Yeah, it really is a steal at this price.

I think the Galaxy S23 is still going for more than double that price used. Granted, I believe the S23 has better cameras.

are you charging the battery every time with the 68w charger?

i think the fast charging might kill the battery faster.

i'm planning to use my older 10w 15w chargers with this. I'm never in a hurry

I wasn't using it at much but now I have 3 of them so I am using them most of the time. (Most other phones don't come with chargers anymore) I'm in the office most days so it's not a big deal to keep it charged. Takes a little more planning on the weekends if I'm out and about. Had an LG V20 back in the day, the last flagship with removable batteries. Had a couple of stand alone wall chargers and multiple batteries some oem some generic that worked to varying degrees. When one died swapped to the next.

even better when you ask for the $60 refund if you ported your number in.

I had the kishi v1 and it kept draining battery of the phone. I'm not sure if they fixed it since but something to watch out for.

Me and thrifty went back and forth. At first I gave him the correct IMEI 2 and incorrect IMEI 1.

Then I gave him the correct IMEI 1 again. And still unlock was unsuccessful.
Even after repeating the numbers to type them right. It was still my 1st mistake.
thanks for update and clarity .

did u ever get it unlocked? from the other party?

i am of the belief that:
all these folks that have the codes have the same code.
so no need to pay more than $3.
if its gonna be successfully, it will be successful by any seller.

i understand the initial mistake which resulted in a wrong code as expected

still odd that the correct imie did not get correct code.
that is puzzling to me

Out of close to 200 successful unlock from this forum alone it was definitely a rare thing. There's many success stories along the way as all can tell.
A common question people have is "in which order do you unlock and activate". My answer is that it does not matter. I personally unlock my devices on first boot on the "Hi there" screen before setup and any network connection is made.
201 unlocks now. Thanks ThriftyGame5232, the unlock code worked as you said.
Make it 202 unlocks now . Thanks ThriftyGame5232, the unlock code worked as you said. I am gonna get 1 more phone for my mom since it is pretty good deal

My recent order was one of the unsuccessful unlocks with thrifty.

So I had to go to thru

gsmunlockusa DOT com

It was $5 deposit through PayPal. And the code cost $1.95.
But here we are!
so are u saying one method failed, but the other was successful?

that is odd.

i would guess if thrifty method failed, they would all fail.

please clarify

Insert any incompatible SIM card and you will receive a pop up menu asking for 8 digit unlock code.
