I bought this on an identical deal in February, except it was $12. Something must have changed because the coffee was flavorless and had little beige specs throughout. I ended up dumping it and getting a refund from Amazon.

Been wondering about this compared to the 8 o'clock deal (effectively $5/lb)?

We use this to cut the premium brands half and half, note we are not fussy coffee drinkers.

Breakfast Blend is a coarser grind than most. I typically blend it with a more finely ground dark roast for optimal flavor. Hard to beat at $3.69/lb.; and even unblended it's better than some national brands.

Good price per pound but I prefer whole beans so I'll skip this.

Same here, weak and flavorless. Looked like it was diluted with sawdust.

I've occasionally seen those specs before with regular brands like Maxwell House or Folgers. Have to admit, Amazon was great. I was stocking up, so I didn't open it for at least 2 months and they still gave me a refund.

Got a couple of these deals. First had both bags as described above, roast too light (mistake in production?). Second had one bag like the first batch and the other normal. The normal one's color was noticeably darker than the other three and taste was good.

As others have mentioned, good to blend with a darker roast. Can't beat the price.

Edit
If no coupon on the page (because used before), click one of the other flavors not tried yet, click coupon on that page, then return to this page and see savings applied. Worked for me, YMMV.

Second this. I'm not overly enamored with this brand for hot brew as it's not really good or bad it just tastes like "generic coffee" it has nothing stand out about it I would describe to anyone as particularly good or bad.

For Cold Brew it comes out really well though with a much fuller stronger taste and I've been much happier with it for that over other brands especially for the low cost.
