Also, I'm curious why you pushed to unlock the phone within 60 days, when the policy clearly states to have the new phone active for at least 60 days before it can be unlocked?
honestly, in your case i would've told them that you were never told the line had to be active for X amount of days for pay-in-full, or else the trade-in promo would be reversed. Have them show you the fine print where it clearly states the policy in writing. I would try going to a retail store.
I paid in full yes it was about 2100 I paid and then the credit was applied to my account and I got it transferred to my debit card then cancelled the line. I have the free spectrum line that I got new when I ordered the phone so it was not a pre existing. I went to a retail store and they said I have to call in so it's on a recorded call. Also I did ask them to show me where it said the credit would be reversed and they could not so I am currently fighting it.

well, unless we see the order receipt we don't know if he paid in full or what the details of the purchase are. the trade reversal shows $1000 as that's the total amount of promotion, without any monthly payments deducted. i'm very curious if this was a new line opened to take advantage of the promo, and cancelled within 30 days and a "money back guarantee" was triggered or maybe even a refund? And since Spectrum didn't get the phone back, they hit you with the trade-in credit reversal, so it's like he simply bought out the phone. perhaps that's why it was able to be unlocked early.
It was a brand new line and I am a new customer. I paid in full then mailed in the trade, the trade was credited to my account and then my card. I then after unlock cancelled the line and now I have the 1,000 trade reversal.

Yes maybe he canceled within 30 days Spectrum assuming he is returning the device for full refund. Since he didn't return so Spectrum reversed the $1000 credit?
I placed the order in store on the first day of the preorder paying in full. I believe I was just shy of 30 days, I received it July 24th I believe.

Just curious as to why you cancelled the line? Don't you have to wait 2 months for the unlock?
No I was able to get the unlock through Chat and I cancelled because I have ATT and I am using the phone there. If they didn't unlock I was going to wait 60 days to cancel.

Can you explain what you asked them for them to unlock it early, I just tried with chat and they denied me, I am going overseas next week and I really need it unlocked.

i think you cancelling the new line before 30 days is what led to the reversal. Can't be sure, though. Strange situation all around, as you shouldn't have been able to unlock the phone within 60 days.

yes your are correct it shouldn't have been unlocked, but persistence is the key.

I just tried that and they wouldn't budge. You must have gotten a rep that was able to do it somehow because the rep I spoke to told me the unlock couldn't be done.
