this is incorrect. The camera bar is a different size.

These phone "deals" are getting ridiculous.

This is the price I'd expect for unlocked versions of these phones, without having to go through some carrier to unlock it after x days/months.

Then when you couple it with there being no guarantee it actually unlocks after the requisite period it makes this deal that much worse.

I've been with US Mobile for 2 years on their WARP starter plan and have had no complaints. I recently cracked the screen of my Pixel 7 Pro and they helped provided the documentation I needed for my phone's credit card insurance. Anyway, this will be a solid replacement and I get to keep my old phone. I usually try to spend less, but it'll do.

No 256 GB option for the P10 Pro is killing me.

That was one of the factors that pushed me over to make a purchase on Google, too. All my phones have always had MicroSD cards so I've been able to survive with 32/64/128GB onboard storage. But without a MicroSD card slot on this, I figured I needed a bit more storage space.

My only complaint is VVM doesn't work on pixels.
why don't you just use Google voice for your voicemails? I've done that for years and it works great on us mobile warp, total wireless, spectrum, etc. just need to set up conditional call forwarding to your Google voice number if you don't pick up your #. on Verizon/warp, dial *71 then your 10 digit phone number then click call. been on pixel since the 6a and never had an issue.

Thank you for saying this. Exactly what I was feeling regarding the price and unlockability. I feel lost looking at these "deals" lately. Who's upvoting these?

As a US Mobile customer who also relies on credit card insurance, that's great to hear. One thing to keep in mind is that purchasing a smartphone through a prepaid carrier may exclude the phone from being covered by the credit card insurance. That's at least the case with mine (Venture X)

I use coverage provided by my Chase Ink Preferred credit card. For this card, insurance is provided when I pay my monthly bill with the card. The original phone purchase doesn't matter. Of course Capital One may be different.
It doesn't appear Capital One differs. Almost identical language is in both the CIP and VX benefits guides. I called Visa a while back to confirm my interpretation too. Food for thought.

What is not covered?
Cellular wireless telephone which has been rented, borrowed or cellular wireless telephones that are received as part of a pre-paid wireless service plan or "pay as you go" type service plans.

I suppose the coverage won't work if an annual 12 month plan is purchased once? Like for WellsFargo Active Cash?
I used the same card for the purchase. hope it covers

Awesome deal. Just ordered the 10 Pro XL. Too much of a pain to switch from our current provider (xfinity) as there are 4 of us on a grandfathered 3-10 GB plan, but I could use TMobile as a backup in the mountains so will sign up for the $10/month plan to get the phone pricing. Per reddit these will be unlocked:
https://www.reddit.com/r/USMobile...t/n9rkg09/
So I can just add xfinity in the other eSIM slot, and pause the $10 / month plan when the snow falls in the mountains, then resume next summer. Super impressed with usmobile's plan offerings, great option if you need backup coverage, but don't want to port carriers.

FWIW, trying to refer a friend now and their www domain seems to be down. Is it just me? Edit: site seems to be back up.

Bootloader unlocked or not?
If it's like previous deals it seems like it will be unlocked when the network unlock happens after 90 days. [reddit.com]
To clarify, that was for a special deal on the 9s. Per reddit the 10s will be unlocked.

I ended up canceling my order after a $150 promo code showed up in my email from the Google store which makes that a better deal with trade-in and Google store credit. The glass over my rear camera shattered so most places won't accept trade or might not honor the estimate, so I initially went with the US Mobile offer, but Google store will take my trade in as long as it powers on, so that gets me $200 back. Also, if you sign up for Google One premium storage (one month for $10 or less) you get an additional 10% back on Google store purchases. So basically the 10 Pro XL at Google store (for me) nets to $1200 - 150 coupon - 200 trade in = $850 with $300 store credit and I get the color I want. Some are getting $200 coupons and offering them for $20 in the associated thread here. I'm going to wait a day to see if I get a $200 coupon, If not, I may just buy one for $20. Good luck!

So if I go for the $819 Pixel 10 Pro XL 256GB, i can buy the cheapest US Mobile plan, like the 500MB/month "low data plan" for $5, use that to activate the phone for 30 days, and then just leave it in a drawer for another 60 days until it auto unlocks?
They clarified that it is a 30 day unlock for the purchases without the annual plan. So just put a USM eSIM on it within 15 days of receiving it and leave it in a drawer for 30 days. I'm currently doing that with the $250 Pixel 9. $4.48/mo for 50 MB or 50 texts due to taxes and fees, seems like custom plans are the only ones where those are not included.
How do you get it unlocked? Do you need to call them?
