:
got mine and didn't bother with the T-Mobile sim. got my bootloader unlock code, just waiting for the OEM toggle to enable. nice phone for what we paid. now only if the Samsung tablet goes free again
I was going to unlock the bootloader but what are the reasons for doing that? I see that the warranty will no longer apply if I do it.
Would I be able to unlock the bootloader after I unlock the network on the phone next year and not paying for service? Is it worth unlocking if I sell the phone next year?

1. As soon as you take it out, DO NOT insert the Metro SIM, instead, insert your T-Mobile SIM
2. Start the phone
3. It either starts working or it throws an error
4. If it starts working, you can put the Metro SIM in the drawer and it will autoactivate after I think 14 or 20 days
5. I think you can use the Metro SIM in another phone to use the service
6. The phone will unlock in a year during which you can only use it on T-Mobile
The moment you insert the Metro SIM into the phone, it will lock it

Everyone should follow the above steps to make it work on T-Mobile.
Can someone confirmed if this works on T-Mobile?
It seems to depend on the specific one you have. Here's what you do:

Also, Jaggsta, are you asking because it doesn't work with a t-mobile postpaid sim? or you're suprised because it almost always does?
