Same with the ground. It's too bad because it's a great price, although it was $10 not long ago.

I got this the last time it was on sale. It is ground very course so you have to use nearly twice as much for a decent cup. Decent meaning barely drinkable. I don't recommend it.

The bags of mine are still in freezer but that would be totally fine if you cold brew anyway, or french press.

I don't understand how this is a deal. According to the SD "Price Intelligence" graph on this thread the price went UP today, and shows it's been $11 since Aug 5.

This coffee is decent, and better than Folgers in my opinion.
I always use 0.06 x ml = gms required to make my coffee, e.g. 0.06 x 500ml = 30 gms of coffee, then adjust based on the grind of the coffee, so for this I add 5 gms extra for a 500ml cup.
These show up on sale due to their very near expiry date.

i learned the hard way too. i bought the whole beans. it's not good at all. got the Stumptown coffee last month for $9.42 a bag. had a roasting date of July 20th. not bad. insanely better quality. you get what you pay for.

This works best as a cold brew, comes out quite nice and flavorful. Hot brew it's what I would call "generic coffee" nothing particularly positive or negative to say about it just tastes like any random diner's coffee.
