People on here always say this something is 'better', but leave out context.

The mini 4 pro is a better drone, but is over double this price.

The Mini 4 pro is over $800. The Mini 3 has the same camera as the Mini 4 pro so just keep the Mini 3.

And it also depends on individual preferences and circumstances. What will the drone be used for, how much experience does the pilot have with flying, where will the drone be flown, etc.

For the DJI drones, the 4K pro and 5K pro drones are very nice. They are also much more expensive than the DJI mini 4k.

For DJI drones in general, there is uncertainty regarding the ease of getting support and replacement parts due to ongoing US government actions against DJI. That may not be a stopper for everyone, but it's certainly a consideration for US buyers to be aware of.

Oh, not just uncertainty. DJI care is dead. Replacement parts are near impossible to get. You almost need another drone as a donor drone, and you need to do the work yourself.

It's great to see a reasonable explanation regarding this matter.

I have this drone, and use it regularly. It is fantastic for exploring all around a large property or getting aerial footage for personal or public content.

It is not a race car, or a fpv, but it works really well, is fun and easy to fly, and is a super affordable entry point to the hobby.

Agreed, purchased this last time it was a deal. Flymore combo is the way to go IMHO. Great way to get started. Easy to fly and amazing camera for the price. Be aware that at this price point you DO NOT get obstacle avoidance. The user interface and controls are top notch. Really hope theres a way forward for DJI products in the USA (politics aside) as they are the gold standard for consumer grade/recreational drones.

Am I missing something? All replacement parts are available online. Amazon has every component I've broken or needed to replace.

Yes, you're missing something. DJI is about to be banned in the US come year end.
