I've had this for about a year and a half, used it on keeping personal vehicle tires aired up and for my mobile auto detailing business so, hundreds of times. However, as good as it is, the auto PSI inflation stopped working and now only works to inflation if you hold the start button. Amazing product but it does meet its limits relatively quickly. If anyone else has the same issue just remember you can manually inflate but holding the start button.

EDIT: I found a fix! Back to 100% recommend. If yours ever does this, with the power on, hold minus and plus until the numbers flash which resets or tares it back to 0. Now the auto inflate to set PSI works again.

I have P205 tires (Subara Impreza) and my one rear tire has a slow leak. I've been using this every morning (5-7 timer per week) to refill the tire, it's usually at anywhere from 20 - 27psi and need to be filled to 30psi. I'm using one of the Ryobi One+ 4Ah batteries, and I'd say it uses it uses up 1/5 to 1/4 of the battery per week.

I got this at $25 two weeks ago. It's pretty good. You can set the pressure you want and it will inflate until it reaches that pressure. Pretty awesome little device. Would not hurt to have one in a car at all times.

killer price. Got this for 30 something doing the HD trick a year ago and use it a lot. This is the better of the inflators as it has multiple functions.

I have this keep it in the trunk of the car. I use it a couple times a year and filled a kid pool up with it. Fantastic esp if you are in the roybi family already. Love the digital turn off. Set it to what psi i want plug in to car tire, walk away, drink a beer and watch.

Curious 1) how many tires it could top off from 25 to 35psi on a common 1.5/2aH battery and 2) how long the Ryobi batteries (older, non-HP, HP) last without a need for a charge in various trunks in various environments like the harsh East Coast winters or blazing summers in Texas

Other than the inflator/deflator can deflate also, any reason not to choose this? I just got the inflator/deflator 2 weeks ago and is $40. This is half the price and I don't see much use for the deflator function. Any inputs?

This thing is great its slow but having the start button and the pressure limit is good enough you can just walk away while it does it's thing.

I bought a similar device (Sun Joe brand) as an impulse buy a couple of years ago and it's come in handy quite a few times. If you've got a battery already, I highly recommend picking one up!
I have the Sun Joe Pistol Grip Inflator with internal rechargeable battery and it's my go-to
for Tire Inflations over the last three years. Just picked up an Air/Battery Pac for my Glovebox and I hope it lasts as long.

I fear my battery will be dead exactly at the time I may need to use it on the road. May be good to keep one in the garage but not ideal to carry in the car. I will keep my 12V lighter plug operated inflator in the car.
When I worked at Enterprise, I took one of the 12v cigarette lighter tire inflators because they threw them out when the patch fluid reservoir was empty. Still works as an inflator tho! I'll probably be skipping on this deal so I'm not as dependent on a battery because my ass will probably forget to check the charge on the battery every so often

Completely different tools for different uses. This one is more for vehicle tires etc, that use high pressure (low volume). It is not a deflator. The others that do both are for high volume low pressure such as inflatable toys; water/snow tubes, air mattress, etc.

Wait... The other one can't inflate tires? I bought that in hope to inflate my bike tire, basket / foot ball, and vehicle tire. I prefer to have 1 that works for all. But I can't think of when I want to deflate anything. That's why I'm considering returning that and getting this since the other one is still sealed as well

I think I have the same sun joe one, I bought it as an impulse after seeing it on here too lol. That said I wound up getting the ryobi one last time it was on sale too. The sun joe was nice but it was the only thing I had in that battery eco system and the charger is slightly annoying. Meanwhile I've jumped into ryobi all the way.
I have the same sun joe or snow joe, i think the joe is a better value. It includes battery and charger. I would get another.

If you have the same inflator / deflator I do, that model does high pressure inflation like this one, but also does deflation and low pressure inflation (air mattresses, etc). The inflator / deflator is definitely more useful but a bit larger form factor.

This one inflates high pressure for tires/balks/etcThe other one will inflate high pressure for tires/bikes/etc AND inflate/deflate 'low pressure'/'high volume' things like inflatable pools and inflatable toys like a beach ball. It also deflates those for when you want to store the pool or beach ball.Clear?

Hello, female here who knows nothing about tools and trying to get a gift for the significant other. Would you guys recommend the 2 Ah battery and charger option for $59?
