They really should preface the merged comments with something since it confuses so many people, e.g. "Merged from Duplicate Post"

This 45 inch LG UltraGear ultrawide stands out as a productivity monitor, with enough width for three windows side by side and spreadsheets or work apps spread out comfortably. The VA panel is fine for office use, and the curve feels workable for long sessions, especially in stacked or multiwindow setups. The main drawbacks are the lack of USB C and power delivery, plus a 1500R curve that feels too shallow for some. Order cancellations and promo issues also cloud the deal, making it a strong workspace option if those tradeoffs are acceptable.

Common Questions (5)

  • The 1500R curve is workable for productivity, but it is not as aggressive as some buyers want for a screen this wide. It can still feel close enough for side viewing, though some would prefer a tighter 1000-1200R curve for a more immersive wraparound effect.

  • Yes. Several orders were cancelled after purchase, with LG citing a "system error" or saying the unit was unavailable, and some buyers were told to reorder after the coupon had expired. That makes the promo risky if you need the discount to stick.

    EagerMammoth1614TealPear9809captain_coresNavyMoon966

  • No USB-C or power delivery is mentioned for this model, and that omission is a common reason it gets passed over. For buyers who want a modern single-cable setup, that can make it feel dated; for others, the low $380 price makes the missing USB-C easier to accept.

    James_bond003James_bond003captain_cores

  • Yes. The super-wide 45-inch aspect ratio is useful for keeping three windows or spreadsheets side by side, and it works well as a work screen even for limited external-monitor setups. The VA panel is not ideal for everyone, but it is still described as good for office use.

    TeeTeeBoxDPChukkyS

  • Yes. A Windows app called RegionToShare can share a customizable portion of the screen instead of the whole ultrawide panel or a single window. That is useful on a very wide monitor when you only want to present one section.

usually when someone makes a separate thread of a deal that's already been posted, SD staff closes the re-poster's thread and combines it with the one who posted first

Was eyeing for a while and it rotates on regular $550 sale but now Acer released a $480 mini-led ultrawide that now I want that on sale but this super ultrawide for $380 is tempting...although not mini-led.

Acer mini-led ultrawide $480:

This is what i use for at home office. The aspect ratio is super wide so if you need at least 3 windows side by side it's great, otherwise it may be a lot of screen. The VA panel isn't amazing, but good for office work.

Is this like cashback or using a paypal credit card?
