This 45 inch LG UltraGear ultrawide stands out as a productivity monitor, with enough width for three windows side by side and spreadsheets or work apps spread out comfortably. The VA panel is fine for office use, and the curve feels workable for long sessions, especially in stacked or multiwindow setups. The main drawbacks are the lack of USB C and power delivery, plus a 1500R curve that feels too shallow for some. Order cancellations and promo issues also cloud the deal, making it a strong workspace option if those tradeoffs are acceptable.
The ultrawide aspect ratio supports multiple windows side by side for at-home office productivity.
The monitor can work well as a productivity screen when external monitor support is limited.
Windows work use can benefit from turning off HDR and adjusting black levels for better visuals.
A Windows app called RegionToShare can share a customizable portion of the screen for very wide layouts.
The VA panel quality is criticized as not amazing for viewing.
The lack of USB-C and power delivery can make the monitor feel dated for 2025-2026 setups.
The coupon and promo experience can be unreliable, including order cancellations after a code expired.
Shipping tracking can stall at "label created," with delivery updates only after carrier pickup and scan.

Monitor there is $539.99 right now ($769.99 - 230). Trying to use that $220 off

Q: To get the PayPal 22% cashback, do you have to check out purchases of lg.com through the iOS App? It means you can't double-dip in CB sites if PayPal App requires you to check out via the App and get the CB referral that way. Or is the only requirement to check out with PayPal as the payment (meaning, you could use a CB site and just check out normally at www.lg.com)?
But, let's elaborate little bit more for him, since this is public forum.
Well any monitor without USB -C and PD in 2025/26 sounds dated.
Second for this size to be truly curved it should be between 1000-1200R.

COne but YMMV as they are highly targeted offers.
The only issue I see is that I need PBP to function with 2 inputs from same laptop for sharing on teams/zoom. I only need to share what I need.

UPDATE: I called and asked why the order was cancelled. They claimed it was a "system error." So I told them to un-cancel the order and they said I would need to reorder. I told them the coupon no longer works, so it seems pretty shady that this "system error" just magically happened. They said they would put a credit for $220 on my account and I would have it in 3-5 days, which I am 99% sure will be after the sale $170-off sale is over. So I had them put it in writing that they would honor both the coupon and the discount in 3-5 days. They texted me a confirmation with my request. Call them out...they know they screwed up and are trying to weasel out of it.
