Serious question, how does anyone use this or any "over the door" type of hanger and not damage the door frame and/or door?Any well built house I've lived in doesn't have a large gap at the top of the door frame. Do you just leave the door open all the time?
You don't, the one we have scratches the door frame every time we close it if it's too heavy with stuff or the hanger doesn't stay flat while closing.
Not to mention the door will begin to sag after time with so much weight. It is a nuisance until it's "fixed" (re-screw door hinges, bend hinges to realign, etc...).

I've had something similar on my pantry door for 15 years now, still fine. As long as you put light weight items and not bowling balls, you'll be fine.

It has 3 top of the door hooks vs. 2 and isn't "frequently returned".

This is kind of a deal breaker.
