not that anyone buying this is going to actually put 1000lbs on it but it is a completely made up number and the claimed steel gauge is also false advertising.

That being said, you will not find anything cheaper and it's probably safer than benching or squatting off of a squat stand which is the only other legitimate thing you could find at this price.
