Your last sentence is a bit misleading. Most attachments will not fit this rack. It has tubing/uprights that are 2.3x2.3". The "universal" size is 3x3", with many other, less expensive racks using 2x2". If you want weight plate holders, spotter arms, lever arms, belt squat, etc., then you should buy the ones listed with this rack. Most will not fit. There were a couple of brands available on Amazon when this was on sale a couple of years ago, but unsure if they are still there. There are several threads on this rack here on SD. It looks like this is the old pic again, and the rack does not include the squat safety rails. I have this rack, and this is a great buy! Use washers on each end of the bolts when assembling for some added strength/stiffness. EDIT: I just noticed that the attachments state they fit 2.5x2.5" uprights. They may not fit this rack, which looks to be the same 2.3x2.3" rack that was sold the last time this was on clearance at Walmart.

Began my home setup with this same power cage two years ago to get something going for my decently active family. Color was black though. You're not going to get a better start for the money for the average household or average individual lifter.

Due to the universal sizing of the holes, there are so many options from so many different companies on attachments.

I also have this rack from the previous SD. It's an awesome rack for the buy in. I also grabbed the lat attachment on deep discount and highly recommend it.

I've also "modded" mine by drilling side holes for jammer arms and belt squats attachments.

I have this rack because I thought it was a good deal, and it is if you don't really need any other attachments other than the ones that come with it. If you're good with this, then this is a fantastic deal and you'll likely be satisfied with this. If you think you will be buying attachments for this that will bolt or be placed on the rack then you should reconsider. It is very difficult / impossible to find attachments because the uprights are not standard size. When I wanted a belt squat attachment I needed to drill new holes into an upright and love the fact that it does not fit nicely but still works just fine. When I wanted padded j cups to protect my bar, I needed to cut and stick furniture pads on the existing bar hooks since I could find any to fit the upright. It can be made to work, but will be need to be made to work instead of just buying something that fits.

I have this one since 2021 to fight the pandemic. Worked out hard but still got covid in a few months. In 2022, wife wanted a greenhouse for her plants, so it has been transformed perfectly since.

Yes, specifically HulkFit. And if they are no longer in business, then that would limit some of the attachments as they are who primarily sold me mine.

Thanks for the correction. I should have said that there were multiple companies using the size not that the size was a standard.

The price I see for the second listing is $198, which appears to be just the same price as the rack (on sale) and the lat pulldown attachment at normal price. Am I missing something?

Edit:
Nevermind, you're right, it is cheaper. When adding the lat attachment separately it is more.

I think I was confused by a quirk of the UI. On this listing, when the rack is selected, the lat pulldown attachment shows as one price, but if you select the attachment itself, it shows up as a different, higher price.

Copy and paste from same item but this is a different thread.
This is my original comment on that other SD post.

I got my power cage and lat pull down separately. It is home quality. But my son and I can do pull up (cage not bolted down). It's great and the Lat pull down works as it should. There is a row function at the bottom that works well also. I do sort of keep the vertical pole that the mechanism slides on lubed by lightly wiping wd40 every now and again. I paid a little less for the cage and pull down, 15 I think it was and the cage for 89. It's been a while I can't recall exactly but it was cheap and I'm more than satisfied. After over two years of use I would buy at this price if I sanded to get in the game.

I think the bars that the accessories slot into are 2.5"x2.5" with a 1" hole. It can be difficult to find accessories. But I believe most of the hulk fit accessories work well. Please fact check me on this before blind trusting.

Good luck and Get Big!
