Nov 24: Acme had this for $249. Within an hour, the sale was labeled "sold out" and the same bundle was listed as $299.
Dec 1: Home Depot had this for $259 as a daily deal. I assume a lot of people bought in, so now they're testing $279.

Looks like HD is looking to move these batteries but afraid of losing profit. If you're in need of these batteries, this is not a bad price. They usually go for $299. Yo this economy sucks. Saw someone posted in Reddit saying the prices of all tools will go up by at least $20.
