Best Buy has the Starlink Mini Kit on a killer clearance/sale: $199.99 (save $300 off the original $499.99 price!). This is the portable backpack-friendly satellite internet kit from SpaceX.
Key specs:
AC Dual Band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz)
Integrated modem/router
Wi-Fi 5, mesh capable
Super compact for travel, camping, RVs, remote work, etc.
In-store only (or check your local store): Best Buy's ongoing networking recycle program lets you bring in any old modem, router, or gateway to recycle and get a 15% off coupon toward a new modem/router/gateway purchase at the current selling price.
Apply it to this Starlink Mini → 15% off $199.99 = ~$30 savings → effective ~$169.99 (before tax)
YMMV – program is in-store only, coupon on the spot, excludes certain brands but often works for general networking gear. Old device not returned. Valid through at least 1/1/27 per Best Buy site. Confirm with store staff if Starlink qualifies as it's listed under "Trade-in offer" on the page.
Great for off-grid spots, backup internet, or anywhere traditional broadband sucks. Requires separate Starlink service subscription (not included).
Hot if you're eyeing a Mini—grab it quick as stock/price can fluctuate!
Ps.: the store I went to the manager had to override saying that some stores might have limitations and that his computer was saying it excluded starlink products. I showed him the best buy website listing and the trade in on the starlink mini and it didn't say any excluding for starlink products. He did give me for $169 at the end lol
Im trying to post a picture of the receipt

Starlink Mini is being used as a compact travel and backup internet setup, with reports of low latency, solid performance for basic browsing and calls, and enough range to stay useful in mountains, canyons, and tailgating. The $5 standby option is capped around 0.5 Mbps, so it fits light use rather than heavy streaming or multiple users. The hardware deal can be attractive for people who want to own the unit and pause service as needed, but the trade in coupon appears inconsistent in store and is often manually overridden.

So you have three things going against whatever/whoever you talked to on the phone said:
Tnx for clarifying. I called another and they have different information.
I guess homedepot gets my money.

It looks like the $199 models are 3rd gen with WiFi 5, while the 4th gen ones are over $100 more and come with WiFi 6. Other than the WiFi technology, there don't seem to be any major differences.
And don't forget, WiFi 6 is already somewhat outdated and not much better than WiFi 5. The real upgrades are WiFi 6E and WiFi 7.
We have the same questions. I still haven't pulled the trigger and am still looking around… lol.

well if it did you dang sure aint getting it free lol. you would pay a monthly additional fee. Why would they do that, even if they could? Billions in 5g land based lte networks instantly useless? get real lol. And what magical satellites will this data run off? Since only starlink even remotely has that type of network, and it's being used for oh yeah, starlink lol. I dont know if you think Tim Cook is going to snap his fingers and put 10k free LEO satellites in orbit by next year lmao (and only Space X could do that)
Besides that, even if this pie in the sky became reality, do you not have a home ISP because you have smartphone data? They are separate things lol. Although with unlimited hotspot data they can start to blur a bit, we're still a long way from that being standard. You will heat up your phone and burn down its battery as a hotspot, too,
I think you're meaning satellite connectivity for basic emergency texting and calling maybe, if that. i dont believe it.
