If you've never had a turn-dial style groomer, give it a try.
So much nicer not to have to change guards between sideburns, mustache, beard etc.
Panasonic and Remington make a couple good ones

I have the older version of this that comes with the power adapter. Great all purpose trimmer. Neck, sideburns, minor trimming and manscaping. Nose and eyebrows. All purpose manscaper. Had it for years and still chugging. Wish they wouldmake a USB-C version.

Seems to have mostly good reviews, and my 6 or 7 year old trimmer is on its last leg. Ordered it, hoping this lasts me as long as my old one did.

I've had the Costco version for a couple years and this thing is consistent and reliable. I prefer my Wahl for close beard lineups but for everything else I use this one.

Considering a backup at this price…

Which wahl version you have?

I don't find these newer norelco ones to have sharp blades. I bought the 7000 series which is an upgrade and it was not as sharp as my older one.

You can get tiny adapters for the port that will make it usb-c. I have that for my trimmer, I just include it in the bag when I travel and use a USB-C charger for charging

I got this directly from Philips in early Nov for the same price and it works well. I had an older model from Costco that broke and the blade and combs seem to be identical across all their models of this type.

I'm pleased with the Costco version of this, and this is a better price. The blade grabs at my neck a bit if used without a guard.

Costco has 9000 series for $45 (after $15 manufacture's saving). Is it worth paying $18 more? Philips Norelco All-in-One Electric 24-in-1 Beard, Hair and Body Trimmer [costco.com]

I bought this back in 2018 and it's been working well. It doesn't have perfect precision, which someone else mentioned, but if you're patient, it is a pretty reliable daily unit. I have a pretty thick beard and it's been my only trimmer since I got it.

these things have become more dangerous as time has gone by. i find myself getting more nicks from this one than my old one. no clue what they did, but the thing pulls and cuts more than the older counterpart.
