These look like garbage from the reviews. Look for something insulated that will get you real clear ice.

I agree. Also pictures indicate the balls don't come out clear. The silicone molds these use need to be surrounded by water to slow the freezing process in order to get clear balls.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago and they work well although it take almost 24 hours to freeze solid. some complaints in the reviews that they don't come out clear but I made about 15 of these for the super bowl and they all came out fine. One key is that you need to lower the silicone mold into the can VERY slowly or else water will come out the top and spill. They were $10 each when I bought them and they still are. I bought two.
